The world's largest online community for creatives.

Behance is the world’s largest online community for creatives, including those who work in graphic design, music, photography, videography, architecture, fashion, web design, UX/UI, and many more.

Behance is one part social platform, one part job board. Creatives and artists create portfolios that feature completed projects and also “works in progress” that show revisions as the project develops. The site makes it very easy for creatives to give feedback, “appreciations,” share on social, and collaborate.

The job board is an additional part of the site – simply search to see what jobs are available in your field. There optional paid service called Prosite that has more customization features and allows you to brand your portfolio as your own, which includes options like a custom domain name, etc. If you have a Creative Cloud membership, Prosite comes included in the package.

  1. By far the best creative platform to find remote work and also connect with other professionals, Everything is so simple and the level of exposure is amazing. I can definitely see a break point in my career from the time they featured one of my projects worldwide. Millions of visits, thousands of followers in a couple days! But that’s also a negative thing: there are too many creatives looking for work and if you don’t have a featured project it could be hard to stand out.

  2. Behance is an excellent site to showcase your work in a straightforward way. My personal favorite when it comes to showcasing a portfolio.

I will say that it would be better if the profiles could be personalized more. That is annoying, but for the most part it’s a great tool for designers.
